Hey guys,

Can you please help me out with Tony's.

It seems to be a big mix of this place is great or it was horrible.

The menu to me looks very good, but I can't find any recent reviews

For those of you that have been there, PLEASE let me know what you think!

Pictures are greatly appreciated too :upsidedow

Click on my March link for our review and a ton of pics, it was very good, awesome calamari, loud restaurant and quick service but we really enjoyed it and DH requested it again for our June trip.

We did lunch in Oct (pics and reviews in that link) and we liked it alot too!

We had no complaints - had flatbread/pizza things and kids meals. They were very nice and it's a lovely atmosphere. I felt it was overpriced because we paid cash. I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again on the DDP, but our meal was close to $75 for a late lunch. (We did get the kids the special cups with the light-up Tink and Lightning McQueen).

The atrium area is really nice and if you time your meal right, you can see the parade from your seat!

This was quite a loud place but the food we had was fantastic. They even let us hang about a bit for spectro and watch it in there area even though we had finished our meal.

We haven't booked to go back this trip as I feel we have done this one and want to try some new places.

We enjoyed the food the last time we ate there but the service was horrible. It wasn't too crowded but we waited forever for everything, including drink refills!

We have eaten there several times and we always had a good meal. We have plans to eat there in june.

Eh this place just doesn't do it for me. The food is eh and the atmosphere isn't that great. The one perk is that it's in MK

Please remember to take dining reviews of any restaurant "with a grain of salt". You will find people who absolutely love a place, some who hated it and some who thought it was just OK, some who thought the food was too "fancy" and some not fancy enough. It all depends on what "you" are looking for and what you are used to.

We ate at Tony's Last September - 6 adults, 1 child. Among us, we had steak, Chicken Parm, a couple of different pasta dishes, a variety of appetizers and desserts. Everyone was happy with their meals. They were well prepared and nicely presented. There were no major complaints. It was an enjoyable meal after spending a full day in the MK.

Now, if you are planning on pasta and only like the type of sauce your mamma made that was cooked all day long from fresh ingredients, you are going to be disappointed. If you like decent basic pasta dishes, you should be happy.

Go to Tony's and give it a try. I hope you enjoy your meal, we did.

We're in the "hate it" catagory. We've had too meals there - the first was just okay and the second was really bad. However, the menu I saw lately looks better than when we went. If you're interested in it you should check it out

We had a late lunch there Christmas Day. The food was fine (could have used some more seasoning), but our server was great! The kids enjoyed their meals and desserts too. We sat in the "sun room" not the main dining room and didn't find it loud (place and time). We woud go again...especially since MK can be limitied on their TS resturants.

Hi there - We had lunch there on our last two summer visits to WDW.

Here are some pictures. We enjoy lunch here very much!

I have been there once, last year actually. I was not impressed, the children's menu was not up to par and the food was not very authentic to say the least. It is like an olive garden, if you are expecting real italian you will be disappointed. Tutto in Epcot is more authentic, but still not completely.

Over the years we have dined there for lunch and dinner over a dozen times I would say. For the most part, the food is pretty good. As another poster mentioned, opinions are subjective, so my advice would be give it a try.

We were there in Jan 2009. We booked and early dinner ressies, to then be able to leave and get "our" seats for Spectro. Timing was perfect.

Service was vry good, refills without asking and quick delivery of meals. Check out was a breeze with the dining plan and tip from a gift card.

I had the penne with shrimp (Shrimp scampi ?) - I loved this. I would order this again.

As a pp stated this is not to be an authentic italian restaurant. To us it felt like we were dining with lady and the Tramp, see the window in the back of the restaurant.

We did sit in the atrium, it got louder towards we left, but we were in MK eating yummy food. Note the word yummy. We all liked our food.

Also note kids menus are limited no matter where you go. My DD refused mac and cheese now after this trip. :rotfl:

We ate at Tony's two years ago on our first trip and are considering it for our third.
It is noisy, there's no question. But I've yet to eat at a Disney table service restaurant that hasn't been! And it's busy. Remember, it's on Main Street, the hub of MK practically and you can watch the parades go by with the right window seat. That makes it a convenient restaurant.
We found the service to be very efficient and friendly. The food was delicious and the desserts (especially the cannoli!) were very tasty!
If you're looking for Italian like Momma used to make, this is not the place. But if you're looking for a satisfying, great tasting Italian meal, add this to your list.
I found the kids' menu's were lacking everywhere. One can only eat so many bowls of macaroni and cheese, kwim? I don't care if you do put it in a Mickey head dish. :rotfl: The nice thing is that when we went, my son was just 9 but my husband and I would share from our meal to boost his up a bit.

I was there last May, and I did not enjoy it. All of the seats were very close together and I felt like we were being rushed (prob. just our server) and our bill was messed up. I got pasta that was very watery, I left hungry. I just think it is overrated, but again, thats just my opinion, I could have been there on a bad night.

I would give it a try as many seem to love it, I will not return there again though.

Hi. If I could ask another question as we discuss Tony's - does eating dinner there allow you to step out onto the private porch area next to the sunroom for Spectro?

I have eaten dinner there once. It was okay, but not memorable enough to make it on our "must do" list.

We are in the didn't like. I didn't feel so great after I ate there. I think it was what I ate.
