We are staying at POR and trying to decide between these three for the night of MNSSHP. Would you choose the Plaza Restaurant, Tony's Town Square, or Boatwright's?

I chose Plaza, but we also like Tony's--but prefer it for lunch as it is less crowded and the service is better and the portions smaller. Unfortunately, Boatwright's is one of the two worse meals we have ever had at Disney and we will never go back--the service and food was that bad. A lot of people do not think you get your "bang for your buck" on the dining plan, but we like it for a change of pace from all the "heavy" meals we eat all week.

I voted for the Plaza as I'm not crazy about Tony's and I am unfamiliar with Boatwrights. For someone who is unfamilar with Plaza I would say its similar to a Friendly's restaurant (found in New England area) or a Steak and Shake (in South West area of the US). Its basically a sandwich and ice cream place from what I recall, but its YUMMY!

We have Steak & Shakes here in Chicagoland area. We love Steak & Shake, but I think Plaza is twice as good. Some of the things on the item for op are: soups, salads, burgers, reubens, grilled chicken, club sandwiches, etc. They come with german potato salad or fries. Portions are HUGE. We always share a chocolate shake and we each act like piggys and each have one of the hot fudge sudaes! :lmao:

I voted for Boatwrights. Since it's a MNSSHP night it will be crowded and you're at POR anyway so it would more convent to eat before you go to the park.

When we attended the MNSSHP last October, we had ADRs at LTT. A few hours before, I wondered why we were going to spend an hour (or more) eating at LTT when we could be enjoying rides and characters and parades. I canceled the LTT (at which point the Dining CM said, "You just made 5 people VERY happy! :goodvibes:) and we ate a little snack at the resort. We were glad we did it that way, since it was our first MNSSHP and we wanted to experience as much as possible.

And I had plenty of room for Dole Whip. ::yes::

GL with your decision!
