I have ADRs for both from when they all went missing. Tony's was our original plan, but now that I have the other we can't decide which to do.

We have 4 young children and this will be our first day in the parks. Dh and I have been before, but never with our children. Would you stay in the MK and eat at Tony's at 6:30, or head back to our resort (we're staying at POR) and eat at Boatwright's at 7:00? Our kids are used to eating late, so time is not an issue.

I don't know if I will help you or not, but here's my opinions.

1st find out when the parade is at MK. The crowds can be downright crazy around parade time and especially after the parade. Trying to leave the park is a nightmare sometimes.

If you're not worried about the crowd/parade, then do Tony's. Much better than Boatwrights, IMO.

But probably alittle more chaotic than POR though. Good luck!

Even though we have never done Boatwright's for dinner, we had only done breakfast but sadly they took that away :sad2:, I would go to Tony's. I know that Tony's gets a lot of bad rap from some people on the DIS, but we really enjoyed our last meal. The atmosphere is so cute and the food was really good. We were also lucky enough to have a seat on the patio looking out as the afternoon parade was coming around. I know that may not happen again, but it added to the experience. We are planning on going back when we are there in May as our very last meal before heading back to our resort to catch the DME. Have a great time :goodvibes

Our reservation is for Dec. 12, which is a Sunday, so no parade that night. There is a MVMCP going on that night, but crowds getting out won't be so bad because they'll all be staying while we try to leave, right? :)

I would go with Tony's with the kids. We've done both and we won't go back to Boatwright's (the restaurant was not even half full and it took us over 2 hours for our meal--and that was after a 35 minute wait past our ADR and the food wasn't worth the wait, believe me).

It might not be that bad then. After parades it's usually every man, woman, and child for themselves... hahaha. All heading out of the park...

If food quality is a must, pick Tony's.

Boatwrights is good in a pinch, but in my opinion we will never go back. Much better places than Boatwrights.

Thanks!! I'm cancelling my reservation at Boatwrights- y'all confirmed my thoughts! :)
