Tony's or Mama Melrose?

Ok, I voted for MM but never actually eaten there. However Tony's is the only restaurant I actively campaign against on this board. We had a terrible experience there from start to finish. Bad host, bad table location (despite the rest being half empty... and no they wouldn't move us ), bad waiter, bad food and expensive to boot. Never, never again!

Now if you want to talk about our favs.... Marrakesh, Plaza Rest., ESPN, Japan, Spoodles for breakfast... I could go on and on!

We've eaten at both. MM is our favorite of the two by a large margin.

tonys is a must do for us. we love it. the location, the atmosphere, the food. can also watch the parade.

I like both!
I choose my dining options according to where and when I am going to be @a park.
We like to get an ADR @Tony's @2hours before Spectro Magic parade so when we are done with dinner we just walk out to the porch and watch the parade go by...don't know how old your kids are but this is the restaurant made famous in the movie Lady & The Tramp and I have heard you can give your autograph book to your server and they will get the dog's autographs/paw prints! Have been to Tony's several times and have never encountered any problems with service or food.
Have only been to Mama Melrose once but throughly enjoyed it! Something else to consider is the Fantasmic Dinner and Show option which Mama Melrose participates in!

can't speak for Tonys, but we ate at MM and LOVED it!!!! It was one of our favorite meals!! I had the wood-grilled Chicken. YUM!!!

We haven't eaten at Tony's (and have no desire to) but we really were pleasantly surprised by our meal at Mama Melrose last August. We had seen some negative reviews but we really enjoyed it.

If you can't decide which one to choose it might come down to which park you plan on being in that night.

We've been to both and like both. But we voted for Mama Melrose only because we feel it is a little less of a "rushed" feeling. If we do Tony's, we prefer lunch over dinner--not as crowded and smaller portions.
