Tons of pixie dust---we lucked out!

My wife and 4 kids are driving down this Sunday and we were staying off site for Mon-Wed because nothing came through on our waitlist for the infamous President's Week. Was able to get a 2-bedroom for Thurs-Fri though at Saratoga. Excited to try a new resort as OKW is our home. Yesterday I called at 5:15pm and a Grand Villa became available @ OKW---couldn't believe it. We have never had a need for a GV so it will be great to experience one for a few days. Of course we had to borrow from our 2009 points, but at least I don't have to pay for an off site hotel! We're not telling the kids about the GV and just let them freak out when we open the door. Wait til they see they can each have their own queen or double to sleep in! We are so excited. I was calling every day this week like 5 times a day and the persistance paid off

It was available the whole week, but we had taken a trip last June and even with borrowing, would not have had enough points to cover the full visit. (We only have 150 points). Yes it will be great after an 18 hr drive!
