What is Tonga Toast ????

It is a REALLY think piece of sourdough coated in sugar and cinnamon with bananas in the middle. It is cooked like French toast, but it is much crispier.

IMO, the best breakfast in WDW!

Tonga Toast is one of (wo?)man's greatest creations...

A roughly 2" thick piece of bread stuffed with bananas, deep fried, then coated in sugar and cinnamon.

It is spectacular!

I'm not sure if it is available at POP or not, but it is available at Captain Cook's CS in the Polynesian and at Kona Cafe.

The only place you can get it is The Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort.

They have something similar at Boatwright's at POR, but I don't think it's stuffed with bananas and it's covered in a strawberry banana sauce.


ETA: Oops.. I forgot you could get it at Cook's. Nonetheless, you can't get it anywhere but the Poly.
