DD wants some Tom's Shoes.

Where do I get these and more importantly, any discounts? coupons?

Thanks!

I buy them at Nordstrom for my daughter. As far as I know, they never really go on sale but I did buy a new pair for her tax free during tax free weekend in my state a couple of weekends ago.

I lucked up into an end of season sale at a locally owned outfitter's store this spring and got 3 pairs of Toms @ $15 each, but they were all winter Toms, lined with flannel. For my new black Toms for the summer, I had to pay the normal $45 bucks. (Still, I'm all set for the Fall!)

Every time I go to Whole Foods now, I duck in (they're next door) but so far, lightening hasn't struck twice!

I think you're probably just going to have pony up and pay retail, sad to say, unless you just really, really hit it lucky.

Sometimes if you can find a little boutique store that sells them you can get a small discount through a customer loyalty program or if they have a special event. The place I bought mine at (local business) did a few promotions during football season that saved me 10% on a pair.
But, in general it's really hard to find discounts because they are so popular.

Best savings is to buy kids if she has a small enough foot. My DD wears a 7/7.5 and can wear a Kids 5.5.

I've been looking for a pair of glitter Tiny Toms for my little princess, and I found some good deals on eBay. You can find new pairs on there for pretty good prices...it helps to know exactly what you're looking for (style, color, size etc).

I just realized no one has really given you any info on where to find Tom's!

Prices are pretty much fixed to a standard, so every place will have the same prices. I've gotten a pair off of E-bay before, but I find it's really better to go buy them in the store, at least your first pair or two. The shoes should feel just a smudge tight on your feet - the shoes will loosen up as you wear them. If you can get your feet into them and none of your toes curl under, but the shoes are a bit tight? That's your size. After a couple of days of wearing, the shoe will feel like it was custom made for you.

Also, as sk!mom pointed out, if your feet are small enough, you can get the same shoes a little bit cheaper by going to kid's sizes. (I'm just about a size too big for this, unfortunately.)

I love my Toms and wore them to Disney. For the first time ever in my life on a walking vacation, I did not get a single blister. This rates as a miracle for me.

My DD wanted a pair really bad....most of her friends have at least one pair. I was really resisitant due to the cost...they are only canvas after all. Where I live the basic ones are $60.

I got thinking about the fact that Tom's give a child in need a pair of shoes with every pair sold. If I came across any kid that needed a pair of shoes I would gladly buy them a pair without even thinking about it. So after that realization I gave my DD the money to buy the shoes and I didn't think about the price any more.

having many pairs of toms and constantly buying more I can help you out here.

My best tip is to order them online (through TOMS) through the site mypoints.com - that way you get points for every dollar spent, and those add up :)

That's what I do!

I want to get my self and DD a pair each of matching glitter ones. Do they hold up well? Comfortable? What about a day at Disney in them?
