TOMS at Disneyland?

I was just there last week and traded tennis shoes (running shoes, really) with my TOMS and it worked great. Felt good to trade off. TOMS in the mornings, tennis shoes in the evenings/nights.

Ditto for the Skechers Go Walk shoes! :thumbsup2

I wasn't sure that I would be able to wear these everyday - but I did, no problem.

I'm curious about Toms - I was thinking of getting a pair for my December trip.

:thumbsup2 Love my Skechers and will be bringing them on my trip in Feb with my reg walking t-shoes. I am too flat footed for Toms and after my surgery and foot issues I gave them all to my daughter (who had basically already stolen them from me anyway). If you do not have foot issues then you should be ok in Toms but they are just not for me. Have a great trip! :)

I have both Toms and the Sketchers Go Walks and I cannot wear the Toms all day (but that is because I have wide feet, not because of the shoe). I always wear tennis shoes and socks when we go to DLR but I wore the Go Walks for the first time on Saturday and was so pleased that I was able to wear them all day with no problem. I have been looking for light comfy shoes (that aren't tennis shoes) that I could wear there and finally found them in the Go Walks.

But if your Toms are comfy and you already can wear them for an entire day, you should be fine at DLR also. I do see people wearing them there all the time. :thumbsup2

I could never wear socks with TOMS! (plus they look kinda weird with socks on!) More power to ya!

I haven't done Disneyland with Toms but I am about to :cool1:

I think they are super comfy and have no idea why, but I walk in them all time with no problems!

I used to do converse at the parks and would always get blisters and my arches would get stretched out (I have really high dancer arches). I would then end up in cheer shoes after a day. Last time I switched to toms (no socks) and I can wear them for multiple days in a row. The only time I switched was when they got soaking wet in the rain because they started rubbing weird. I have done toms all day at Disneyland and our entire SF trip. There not for everyone as some have mentioned but I love them and I have the tan lines to show it :rotfl2:

About wearing socks with them, I'm going to wear long pants so you can't see the socks. (:

Test the socks before hand though because I don't like the feel of socks in toms (they bunch weird) and it also stretches mine out so they don't feel right. The only time I wore socks with my toms it caused me to get blisters but I have really sensitive skin and it differs for different people.

Test your footwear prior to your trip. Everyone's feet are different. What is good for some is bad for others.

+1! And test them in conditions as close to DLR as possible. Walking in the mall is one thing, but, as you already know, walking all day at DLR is a whole different matter. If you can fit them in your shoes, gel insoles really help. And definitely use moisture wicking or wool socks -- they really prevent blisters.

Brought Toms ( no sox!), flps flops and Nike sneakers. Changed them up over 4 days and absolutely no problems! I was amazed how comfy the Toms were.

I wore my toms only for a short while, I needed more support, because after about 5 hours my feet felt the pounding of the hard cement.

But love the Small World Toms...

Where's the best place to buy TOMS?

I would love to try a pair but don't want to spend a fortune! ;)

I bought mine at Whole Foods. They were $44, as I'm pretty sure you won't find them cheaper anywhere.

LOVE the IASW TOMS!

I buy mine directly from TOMS.com, but I have bought a pair at Nordstrom too.

I have to thank you for the Sketchers GoWalk recommendation. I bought some w/ Amazon prime and they showed up today and I am shocked how comfortable they are right out of the box.

I got a cute pair of Danskos too, so I think between the Go-Walk, Dansko and a pair of running shoes, I'll be good to go.

I thought about Toms but I need more arch support.

So glad you like them. :thumbsup2 I have one pair and plan on getting a few more. I have been wearing them everyday for a week now and am amazed and how much better my feet feel. They have been so messed up since my back surgery. Have a great trip!
