Does anyone know if the current refurbishments of the People Mover at MK will include renovations that make it accessible? I don't mean that the wheelchair needs to be able to get on, but if I am remembering correctly it was the ONE ride that would not allow my children to even safely transfer from their wheelchairs to the ride cart. Any information on where I can find details would be appreciated :-) Thanks!

I highly doubt it will be wheelchair accessible or there will be changers to make it

No added accessibility as far as I can see.
I‘ve been watching different media about the work they have been doing. From what I’ve seen, it is some repair/maintenance on the speed ramps (basically escalators without steps) and the magnetic system for propelling the cars.

Because of the very steep speed ramps, wheelchairs have no way to get to the loading area.
When my daughter was younger and we were able to carry her up, we did park her wheelchair at the bottom and carry her. I saw someone do that with a boy about 8 years old; he waited in line with his wheelchair until he reached the speed ramp. Then a man with him lifted him out of his wheelchair and the CM parked it close to the exit.
