Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station - any good?

I am looking for a good counter service lunch spot for our trip next week. We have been to Columbia Harbor House, Pinocchio Village Haus, Pecos Bill, and Cosmic Rays. We'd like to try somewhere different. I am looking at Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station (or maybe Diamond Horseshoe?)

Any opinions - good or bad?

No, it's not good. My meal there was one of the worst meals I have had at WDW. In addition, it may not even be open when you travel as has only been open occasionally in the past. I'm not sure if it is still in operation at all.

It is terrible! I wouldn't eat there again if it were free and I got a gift card to boot. Honestly, it is not good. There are many other quick service options that are much better!

I guess I'm the minority here but we enjoyed out meal when we ate there! Granted, it was a few years ago, and maybe things have changed by now.

You guys are going to think I'm nuts, but this was the first meal EVER we had eaten in Disney World and my Dbf and I were in LOVE with our food. It was SOOOOOO good.

Granted, we hadn't eaten anything but airline pretzels in 8 hours due to delays in our flights, so the opinion may be skewed.

My Dbf looks to see if it's open every trip. Reading the other posts is just really funny now.

We've been there January, May, September, October, and December and also have never seen it open. We've never seen El Pirata y el Perico open either.

Thought it was pretty good when it first opened, then they changed the menu. The one time I was there after the menu change, it was terrible.

It's also open "seasonally" which in Disneyspeak means "only when the crowds are huge, if ever"

I am not sure Diamond Horseshoe is a permanently open food service location either.

We were there Jan 2nd when it was open. When we went back to the MK on Jan 4th, it was already closed.

We were there Nov 17-24 and they have a new menu, burgers, fries, chicken fingers...so much better than the ick stuff they had as the Noodle Station but come on that stuff is all over the parks!

It's really too bad! The stuff they have on the menu sounds like it would be good! If only it was! At least it was different!

We go to Disney 3-4 times a year for the last, I can't even tell you how long, and I've never seen it open either! Why is it so seldomly open?

The noodle stuff was hideous, but if they've gone to burgers/chicken/salads, then its the same as you get everywhere else. A burger is a burger at Disney. I find burgers to be pretty good at Disney probably because they crank them out of the kitchen pretty fast so they're fresh.

You can get pizza at Pinocchio's, and Columbia Harbour House has fried fish, chicken and shrimp. When open, the Diamond Horseshoe has premade sandwiches; its nothing special. Pirates de Perrico is also "seasonal" and it closed in September. It is often overflow seating for Pecos Bills.

Tomorrowland Terrace has a buffet during times of peak attendance.

I had to laugh when I saw this post! We've been to WDW more times than I can count and JUST LAST trip FINALLY saw (and ate at) El Pirata y El Perico
It was during Star Wars Weekends and it was actually VERY good, we loved it!
One more thing to add, we've been to Star Wars Weekends 3 times previous to this year and it wasn't open during the days we were there on those trips

That reminds me of the Baobab tree on the AK safari. According to the safari guide it has leaves for only a few months a year. Somehow we are always there at the wrong time ... which is odd since we have been there in Jan, Apr, May, Jul, Aug, Oct & Dec .

since the baobob tree you see on the safari is made of cement, I doubt you'll ever be there at the right time.

They do have a real one outside Tusker House.

I have never eaten there (not opened in January or August apparently). However, the reviews are bad and the menu is a strange mixture of chicken nuggets, Asian noodle bowls and Caesar salad. I don't quite get what theme they're going for. So, I would avoid it.

If you are looking for some different quick service food, I would strongly urge you to hop on the monorail and head over to one of the monorail resorts. My recommendation would be Captain Cook's at the Polynesian. It really is tasty and provides a nice break in a beautiful atmosphere.
