Tomorrowland Speedway question

How do the cars work for the speedway? If I’m there with my 12 year old and 7 year old, can I ride with my youngest and my 12 year old ride alone? Or will they try to put a stranger in with him to fill the space?

you didn't ask but your younger one is old enough to ride with your older one on rides where they do put a stranger in other seat. 7 is the magic age. saying this in case someone uses this to see about kids riding together
