One more sleep until Disneyland! And I can't believe it, but we're packing jackets for Fantasmic! and the fireworks. This brief cool down is very welcome. It'll only be Disneyland Park and then a night at the Best Western Park Place Inn and Mini Suites. We might break up the day with DTD. We'll have to plan a CA day for later in the year.

You are so right about the brief cool down. The heat has been miserable and oppressive. Yesterday, last night and today have been so much better than what it was like a few days ago. Even the evenings were too warm and muggy. Now, the evenings and early mornings are actually pleasant.

I think the temperatures are supposed to climb again soon, but at least there has been a tiny respite. Fall arrives in only 4 days, and I could not be happier to see summer leave! The quicker, the better!

Hopefully you'll have better luck with crowds. I'm standing in a 45-min HMH line right now. DL is mobbed. DCA earlier today was fine. We hopped over this afternoon, and only rode Splash using the new single rider line. Then we went home.

I can back and hit the tail end of the 2nd parade. Restaurants are packed. Even the train had a long line. This is the most crowded I've seen DL in a LONG time. I have to wait until 11:25 to use my Space Mountain FP.

Guess this is what happens when the park closes early during the week. Hope you have fun.

Have a great trip, we also arrive tomorrow! Lets hope that the weather stays cooler for the next week! I also hope that the crowds get better as the week goes on.

It was amazing! Yup, the crowds were pretty thick - all day long the Haunted Mansion Holiday ranged between a 40 and 50 minute wait. But we still had an amazing time. Want to go back NOW...sigh...
