I was looking into this dining event, but didnt know if it would be worth it or not. It lloks like it is, being that you dont have to fight the crowd for a seat. That alone might be worth it....lol
Anyone have any advice on this one. Thanks

Not sure what dining event you are speaking of as Tommorrowland terrace is a counter service resteraunt and is only open seasonally. Are you refering to wishes dessert party?

I think you might be inquiring about the dessert and Wishes viewing.

My family have yet to go to it as it just started after we went in 2010. That was our favorite spot to view Wishes and when we went, it didn't seem as popular of spot as it is now.

When we were just there in February this year, the whole area around it was just packed!! We tried to scout out an area near by, as we love seeing Tinker Bell almost go over us. I was wishing we had paid to do the dessert party as it looked really good from what we could see and not too crowded at the party.

This will definitely be a must for our family as we loved viewing Wishes from that spot; even though the price seems a bit steep.

I hope this has helped you. I wish you the best with your vacation planning.

If you mean the Dessert Party, it is very much worth it for us but is also very much not for everyone. You don't get much of a view of the Electrical Parade from the Tomorrowland Terrace; if this is your only MK day and the Parade is important, I'd say to skip the Dessert Party. I also don't think it's the best choice for young children. I find that the kids are often happier to be out on Main Street with a monster ice cream cone rather than sitting quietly sampling lots of little fancy desserts. Also, the beverages do not include soda pop and this can also be a deal breaker for some folks.

I love that you have a guaranteed place to sit in an atmosphere where you can actually talk to your family. I love being able to sample so many different dessert choices and then go back and pig out on the ones I liked best. It's VACATION - I love having dessert for dinner one night. You can NOT have an actual TS dinner (which probably already includes a dessert) and then a few hours later do any justice to the goodies at the Dessert Party; again it becomes a waste of money or an invitation to a serious stomach-ache. Finally, I love doing the Dessert Party on a late night EMH night; the sugar high from the Dessert Party will carry you through till the wee hours of the morning!

Do you mean the Tomorrowland Terrace Cafe CS, the Tomorrowland Terrace dinner buffet offered in the busy seasons, or the Tomorrowland Terrace fireworks dessert buffet? If you mean the dessert buffet, they assign seating. (You may not get into this event at all if you don't have it booked ahead of time).

If you were just saying that you didn't want to fight the crowds on Main Street for a seat (people stand on Main Street for that show, they don't sit; maybe that's where the confusion is) then I think the greatest draw for people who book the dessert party is the reserved seating for the fireworks show - the desserts come in second. I have never done it as I am not really concerned about a view for the fireworks for myself, and I don't think the desserts offered are worth the high cost of the event. If they were able to serve wine or cordials, I might try it, but no alcohol in MK.
