Wow, celebrating birthday in Disney is such a wonderful plan. It would be a memorable birthday.

Where will you staying and how many will be going on your trip?

:goodvibes We are hoping this will be a birthday he will always cherish. Its his 13th....(I'm the mother of a teenager! Good heavens! :scared1: ).... and it is our first trip to Disney, as well as his (and my) first time on an airplane. So lots of excitement all around. Sunday (his actual birthday) we have reservations at Chef Mickeys for dinner, so we're anticipating some good fun there!

There's just the 3 of us....DH, DS, and myself. DS is a "lonely only" :upsidedow .

We are staying at POR for six nights/seven days. We've had a terrible bout of colds between the 3 of us over the Christmas holidays, and the cough/ear problems are still lingering, so we're hoping that some warm(er) Florida weather will put us back in good shape. We seem to be getting a snowstorm or freezing rain here in Southern Ontario every other day, so even "cool" winter weather at Disney will seem warm to us Canadians!

Enjoy your first time down there in WDW. I will warn you that it is very addicting. I was there for the first time ever in August and I am now going back again in just over two weeks and I also just booked our trip to WDW the week before Christmas.;)

LOL :rotfl: , I could so totally see that being the case with our family!

That said, DH works for a parts supplier to the Big 3, so we have no idea what the future holds. :sad2: We had hoped to book a bounceback for the free dining time period, but we just can't commit to that with the state of the economy. So this might just be a "once in a lifetime" trip.....which is why we intend to enjoy every single second. :flower3:
