tomato prices

How much are tomatoes in your area? They are almost $3 a pound where I live at! I refuse to buy them at that price. I buy cucumbers and pretend they are tomatoes!!!

They were 2.28 a lb here the other day.
No matter how hard I try I cannot get cucumbers to taste like tomatoes.

Same here! And to top it off...they SUCK! I bought three and I kid you not, the NEXT DAY they were moldy.

$2.57 a lb. I bought some yesterday. I am pregnant and this is the only think I am craving! Can't wait for summer when they are actualy tasty and in season.

I plan to try hydroponic( the Land! ) gardening next winter--just a couple of tomato plants & lettuces & perhaps some cukes

We call the winter tomatoes "indestructible tomatoes"!
