Tom Sawyer Island

Is Tom Sawyer's Island open yet?? I know they were fixing it up. I love going there, and I heard that if you find a paintbrush(?) that you can be first in line on one ride, is this true??

It was open when I went to MK last month. I've heard about the paintbrush thing but I don't really know anything about it.

I read in a diff thread that the brushes are put out before the park opens and there are 5 I think. You take them to a cm anf get a pass.

I was on the first boat over once and never saw a paintbrush and I was looking for one too.

From the conversations i have had with a few cast members, i understand Disney doesnt do teh paint brushes anymore, but the ISland is still well worth the trip over to it

We found a paintbrush on one of our trips. We got a certificate that said something about Tom Sawyer's Scavenger Hunt and a pass to go on splash Mountain or thunder mountain- but in the fast pass line- it was fun...it's a shame if they aren't doing it anymore...
