Tom Sawyer Island

Anyone know if Tom Sawyer Island is open?
I might be crazy but years ago could you go sit and get a great peanut butter and jelly sandwich?
Is that still possible?

Tom Sawyer Island is listed as currently open. We were there in March when the parks closed and the snack stand was closed, so I wouldn't count on that PB&J

You could bring something from the mainland to eat on the island. The seating at Aunt Polly's is open, but you may have to enter from near the barrel bridge. Both entrances to weren't open in mid-July.

Is the escape tunnel from the fort open?

Island is open. Aunt Polly's is closed and when it is open does not serve PB&J anymore (we had them as kids too and they were great) They only serve uncrustables at all places that have PB&J now.

The caves were open last I saw but the barrel bridge was not (although was open when parks first opened not sure why they shut it down now).

For the last couple of years Aunt Polly's has been open for a few days at very busy times (July 4 and Christmas weeks)

Just keep in mind - that raft ride to TSI is like a ride across the surface of the sun. It is one of the hottest places I've been at WDW. Maybe a solar umbrella/parasol would help, though.

Everything on the island is open except the restaurant and the playground on the top of the hill.

We literally pack PB&Js on days we know we're going to TSI. Then we sit outside of Aunt Polly's and eat them, just like the old days!
