Tom Sawyer Island-open when?

When does Tom Sawyer open? We really want to be the first boat over, but I read it opens later than the rest of the park. In June, MK opens at 9:00 on non-EMH and 8:00 on early days. So, when does the first boat leave and is usually full?

The first boat over to TSI is uaually not full. Unfortunately there is no set timetable for them. The opening and closing time varies based on the time of year and the sunshine. In my experience they are usually open by 10am and close around 5 or so (whenever dusk falls). The CM's are there prior to park opening as they go around and clean the river in the morning and restock items on the island itself. When you get there in the morning you can ask (if it is not listed in the times guide...which sometimes it is, sometimes it just says varies with park hours). Sorry I can't give you a better answer on that one, but I can tell you the first few rafts in the morning are not usually full as it is not usually the first thing on peoples list
