The toll amount would depend on where you are driving from/to. I-95 & I-4 do not have tolls. The Florida Turnpike, the Bee Line and the GreenWay do have tolls.

I don't know what it is called but it is a version of EZPASS. If you have an EZPASS on your car now it will work all the way there. We are from PA and it was great.

According to Wikipedia: The SunPass electronic toll-collection system as well as the other related ETC systems in Florida are currently not compatible with the
E-ZPass or other related ETC systems outside of Florida. The use of non-Florida ETC transponders (Including E-ZPass) is illegal and is considered to be toll-evasion which is a prosecutable offense.

I take it that's a NO. :confused3

Well I'll just have to remember to bring a bunch of quarters and dimes. I think it was .35 cents each time through, or is it .75 cents?

Sunpass and EPass are now competely integrated with each other as far as Central FL is concerned (don't know about the rest of the state.

Your EZ Pass will NOT work in FL. I have both on my car, and my EZPass doesn't register going through the toll barriers down here.

OK...Anne could you clarify. If they are completely integrated why doesn't your EZPass register???

Why would it? Sunpass and Epass are integrated, EZPass is a completely different system.

EPass and EZPass are not the same thing.

Anne

What Anne was saying is that all of the Florida systems are now integrated (which was not that way a while ago). Anybody elses transponders will not work in FL.

When on SR417, make sure that you have exact change for the exits. The booths are only manned from 8am to 4pm, then it's sunpass/opass/epass or exact change only.

I just thought it was another typo in your post as there were a few others. I'm not from Fl so I didn't know that EPass was something different.

It might have been great, but E-ZPass does not currently work in Florida.

Unfortunately there are a bunch of different toll costs depending on which road you are on.

Anne

Is there a web site or someplace to see where the toll roads and prices are?? We're driving from California and it would be nice to have some kind of "knowledge" as to how much change we should have ready for the roads.
