Tolls from MCO to WDW

I usually just take change and pay for tolls from MCO to WDW but in February, one of the booths didn't have a pay option. It was sun pass only. I don't like to pay the high fees that the rental car companies seem to charge. I thought I read somewhere that you could buy the box or something from amazon and just pay the tolls yourself. Is this true and if so, does anyone know what it is I should buy? I searched amazon but there were a lot of options. Thanks!

If you have the time, you can get one from NC for even cheaper that will work just the same.

Be aware the NC transponder can’t be moved between vehicles. I live near a toll road in NC and use the SunPass transponder purchased at the I-95 welcome center. I take it with me when I fly down to Orlando or Ft. Lauderdale to use in rental cars.
