Toll House Cookie Sandwiches

Hi, guys!
This is my favorite frosty treat in WDW and I always get it with vanilla ice cream and chocolate chip cookies. In fact, I never realized you could get it another way! Is this just at the Ice Cream place or at Main Street Bakery, too?

So, tell me- how do you get yours? Have you tried other ice cream flavors or other cookie flavors? What's your favorite combination of flavors?

Chocolate chip .. mint or without mint is very good!

Dh and I split one last Thursday (we cut it with a spoon).
It was my first one, too - and it was great! We had chocolate chip cookies and chocolate chip ice cream (vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips)!

I have heard about these for years, but in all of my trips I have never come across them. Please, please, please tell me where I can find one!

OMG, DH and I had one of these on our very first trip to WDW in 1992--I didn't think they made them anymore. This is on the list for July now!

We found these last September and looking forward to having these again! We found these at the snack carts in AK and Epcot; MK only in the ice cream shop, didn't look for them in Studios.

For me, the ones in the carts aren't as good - the cookies aren't as fresh. But one good thing is that the ice cream is frozen. Still, I wouldn't turn one down and have been known to eat a few of those, too.

But, be prepared when you eat a fresh one from the Main Street Bakery: they are messy and have to be eaten quickly as the ice cream is not frozen solid and the whole thing WILL get melty on you. But melty in a good creamy, delicious way!! Try to run out and find a spot in the shade to devour it!!

At Sleepy Hollow by the castle you can get them - warm cookies w/ vanilla ice cream- I had no clue you could get custom cookies at the Bakery- ar e the cookies warm there too? I would say do not get them at the cart, the warm gooey melty cookie it the best!!!

I love those and we got ours only at main street bakery. Ate one while watching mainstreet parade, the cookies were still warm and they melted my ice cream.

Yes you can. This is one of my youngest ds favorite snacks. I tried one in Jan & it was yummy!

The snack cart right outside EE at AK has them. Great distraction while waiting in that long stand-by line!

I never realized you could get them with other ice cream flavours besides vanilla. I'm definately getting one on my next trip!

I think we're talking about two different things here: the ones at the SNACK CARTS are pre-packaged and pretty much the same as you can get at the grocery store but the ones from the MAIN STREET BAKERY are made to order with fresh warm cookies and your choice of ice cream flavors. No comparison!

You can also have them made to order at the bakery in the POFQ food court...while the rest of my family was downing beignets by the dozen(and I am not kidding!!), I opted for the choc chip cookie sandwich with mint ice cream. Yum!!

I'll have to remember this for my next trip, I didn't know these were two different things.
