Toledo - first night?

We are staying at Gran Destino. We were thinking of going to Epcot first evening and eating there, but now thinking of Toledo.

We arrive early morning. I'm not worried about making the ADR as we will be making the reservation for around 8 or later so we can eat there during the sunset/dark and experience the colors.

It's so gorgeous from the pics, do you think that would be a great way to start the vacation off right, a touch magical? Then we can just roll from dinner to the room! Or would you schedule a more Disney type dinner at Epcot?

Sounds like a plan! Minimal traveling which is generally good on arrival day, a new to many restaurant that you can review. What's not to love?

I made a reservation at Toledo for our arrival night, and for one other night toward the end of our trip. I'll cancel the 2nd one if we don't love it the 1st time, but I'm pretty optimistic that it will be a good experience. We always make a dinner reservation at the resort we're staying at for arrival day. After traveling to get there, we like to stay put that night. In this case, it will be our first time at Gran Destino so I'm sure we'll find plenty to do just wandering around before and after the meal.

This will be our first time at Gran Destino - first time at CSR actually. So we will have a lot to explore. Maybe we'll go to Disney Springs for a bit during the day and head back for dinner/drinks. (unless of course I get some fantastic fast pass we need to use somewhere)

I'm thinking we will book it!
