Tokyo Taxi? (Recommendations Please)

So I just booked tickets for teamLabs Planets.
Because I waited too long I kind of got stuck getting them on the day we travel from Kyoto to Tokyo.

We have plans in Kyoto that morning, then an afternoon Shinkansen trip to Tokyo. (1:30-3:45 pm)
Then we have to make our way to our hotel in Tokyo Bay.
Our teamLabs tickets are about 2.5 hours after our ETA at the hotel.

Because there will already be enough trains that day I am considering a taxi or Uber instead of public transit.

What services have you used or seen recommended for such (Uber, Taxi service, etc.)

It should only be about a 15 minute or so drive. So I am hoping it is not TOO costly.

You can use your Uber app and plug in the destinations, just make sure to look during local hours for better idea of cost. I used the Go taxi app which is what you'll get (every taxi I saw had a Go taxi sign/machine) when ordering through Uber anyways, I think. Super easy and works just like the US. I preferred using the app so I could pay through the app instead of dealing with cash. Shows them arriving via GPS, license plate, etc. Taxis in Tokyo are more expensive than in Kyoto but still pretty affordable given the favorable exchange rate, especially for shorter distances. It's the taxis to/from the airport that tend to be pretty expensive and not ideal, but that's also typically a longer drive.

A 15–20-minute ride shouldn't bankrupt you. A taxi ride from Narita to Yokohama...that might.
