i don't know anything about package deals to TDL......perhaps someone else on the board does..

however, regarding your second question, of course it's worth going...
and not just for Disney....Japan is an amazing country and certainly an interesting place to visit...
as for the disney aspect, there are actually two parks: Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.....
Tokyo Disneyland is very much like Magic Kingdom, but in Japanese.....when we were there, there was no English....i don't know if that has changed or not......although you can get by with English just fine....i just mean the attractions are in Japanese (where there are scripts - like on Jungle Cruise)....

Tokyo DisneySea is completely different from anything Disney has anywhere else in the world....
so the two parks together are definitely interesting..

and then there's Japan....one of my favorite places in the whole world to be, although very very very very very expensive....extraordinarily expensive.....

Sorry but like Beth I don't really know anything about package deals to Tokyo Disney from the UK, I am sure there is someone here who will though :)

Personally I would love to visit Japan :teeth: it seems such a different culture to ours and would be a real eye opening trip I am sure :thumbsup2

I know Travelsphere do a package holiday to Japan and I have a friend who swears by their trips - says they are excellent value - you could incorporate a trip to Disney I suppose.
I would love to go to Japan - my sister says it`s the best place she has ever visited.

We are going to Hong Kong Disney this year and looked for packages but to no avail. We hit upon the idea of booking with Virgin, staying in a hotel in Hong Kong Harbour for half the stay and then booking independently with Disney for the other half. Best of both worlds. When we get there tired and bemused we have a transfer to our hotel and then when we know the lay of the land we'll just get a taxi over to Disney for the second half.

Give Virgin a ring and see what they can do for you. The Tokyo Disney web site will be able to give you an idea of the prices (which are huge) of the hotels on the disney monorail loop. From what I can remember, Disney don't own any but there is a monorail connection to 4 or 5, all of which are 4* and above. We plan to go in 2008 so I've done a bit of advance planning.

Tokyo Disneyland's Hotel Mira Costa is the best hotel there and it's Disney's....it also costs a small fortune, but so does any good hotel in Japan...
