I saw this morning that Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea are closing for the next 2 weeks at least due to the virus outbreak. All Asian parks are now closed. That's so bizarre. I know Disney doesn't own those parks outright but I wonder what impact that will have on the company overall. They do get a cut of the profits.

Maybe they decided to close because attendance has taken a severe hit.

Locals and travelers are postponing trips to Disney because the thought of being in a crowded park seems too risky at this point for them.

Probably so. The economic impact has got to be huge though. Look at all of the cutbacks we saw in the US parks that were blamed on cost overruns in Shanghai. With those parks now closed completely bringing in no revenue at all, what will happen?
