Considering Tokyo Dining for one of my ADRs. We wanted to do Teppan Edo, but we're a party of 10 (tables only seat 8) and using TIW (not valid). Any opinions on Tokyo Dining? How are the non-sushi items (for kids and me)? Do the meats (chicken/beef) come with teriyaki sauce? Any opinions would be much appreciated.

Oh my goodness. I am in love with Tokyo Dining. I don't think much is said about it on the DIS, so in my opinion it's kind of a hidden gem. First of all the service is stellar and all the CMs are just so wonderful and nice. Secondly, I almost feel like it is a signature restaurant. They bring out warm moist towels to wipe your hands with before the meal, which is something Jiko does, so I'm impressed. I highly reccomend the grilled chicken. The chicken is just so delicious. I don't know why, maybe it's juicy or something and cooked just right. They bring it out already cut up which is nice too. I think you can choose which sauce you want, but I always choose Teriyaki and it is some delicious teriyaki sauce.
For dessert, you have to try their chocolate ginger cake! One of the best desserts at WDW!
Also, the atmosphere is great! There are just so many windows that from pretty much anywhere you can look out and see the World Showcase and Spaceship Earth.

Disneyfav, thanks for that review. The Bento Box looks yummy! We have eaten sushi there for dinner, but it looks like a good stop for a cooked lunch. Thanks!
