Hi,
Has anyone used the DXDDP for tokyo dining. What do they consider an appetizer or entree since most sushi is ala carte?

I'm curious about this too.

I've been struggling to figure this out since the menus listed here and on allears don't seem to match what I've read in people's trip reports.

Certain appetizers (edamame, tofu salad) seem obvious. However, plenty of people report getting combination tempura/sushi entrees yet the menus list things like $4 for sweet potato maki.

How do these meals work?

Thanks for any help.

i ate there on the DxDDP in may. pretty much anything listed under "appetizers" on the regular menu was included as an appy. there wasn't any sushi. pretty sure it's the same appys available at teppan edo.

for main meal, iirc, you could do the 2 most expensive sushi entrees...i think they might have been sushi/tempura combos? the one i got was anyway. there's a link to my dining report in my siggie if you'd like to read more about it.

Thanks so much for your reply. I checked out your reviews .....darn it...now I'm hungry again:goodvibes

I don't see Tokyo or Teppan on the dining pdf. Were they added to the plans?

Yes, they were late additions.... (Early Jan maybe?)

One of the things I find most frustrating is the number of different DPP brochures floating around and the difficulty with finding the most recent one--I really wish they'd date them!

Thanks for the info.

I just found my answer. We did have a early pdf. They do date them, bottom center of the last page. The last DDP that I found is dated 5/8/08 and the DDDP is dated 6/1/08. Now I have to get busy making different ADR's based upon the new info. :surfweb:

for me to be reading the DIS boards because while I was reading this thread I was trying to figure out why the heck someone was asking about the DxDDP in Tokyo (i.e. Tokyo Disney). Then it finally dawned on me that what was being discussed was dining in Epcot. Bed time!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Yikes, now I figure the ones I found are still not the most recent, because they don't have dates. Argh! Off to look for new brochures...

Unfortunately, that list isn't dated either, so, I don't know when it was last updated. Thus the need to continually search disney's website for their latest brochure.

I will post the url of the website where I found the latest pdfs tomorrow. I have to remember where I saved the short cut. :surfweb:
