Thanks so much!

Have you looked at the menu to see if you would like to try anything there? There are also some pictures as well found here.

I agree with everything the PP said. Now with that said. Last Oct, my cousin's and I went to WDW and were had FD. Two of us love sushi, one not a fan of anything but simple grilled chicken, veggies etc, but she did enjoy trying Tokyo Dining. She had the Grilled Breast of Chicken - Grilled chicken breast served with seasonal vegetables, steamed rice, and your choice of original Japanese sauce: teriyaki, ponzu or miso.
As long as you (and others in your party) are open to trying 'new" things then it really should be no problem. As far as child friendly, the only thing I saw that was child friendly was there meal was served in a monorail. (And I have to say my whole table asked if we could get that as well because we are all kids at heart). Here's photo's of my meal which I am sorry is half eaten. I forgot to take pictures till halfway through.
Ginza Gozen - Tempura and sushi combination
The white plate held about 6 pieces of sushi, the yellow bowl held seaweed salad, in the middle in the rice and in the basket is shrimp and veggie tempura. Personally I really enjoyed this
Green Tea Pudding
I have to say I love all tea, esp green tea and I thought this would be a lovely dessert and while it was not the worst I would try something different for dessert next time.
Hope you enjoy it if you go.
