Toiletries

That bar holding the bottle necks in place, locks I think. So nobody except Housekeeping can remove the pumps, so nobody can put anything in the bottles.
YUCK!!!! How can they maintain safety with this. I would not want to use this after anyone. Are they Going to change this after every guest???
Ue

Yes when you enter the room it is surrounded with plastic and has a “cleaned” sticker on it. Plus it is locked in so it cannot be tampered with! It is so eco friendly plus virtually unlimited shampoo, body soap and conditioner! I was at boardwalk in January and they didn’t have it!

Not a fan of these as well, luckily our last trip we did not encounter these (yuck!). We will be adding toiletries to our grocery orders from now on.

We just got back and we had ONLY the small H2O products. We bring our own toiletries. CCV was our resort.

It’s been a few years and I don’t mind it. But we always bring our own toiletries. I never knew people actually used all of the hotel toiletries until the Dis. Most everyone I know always brings their own.

Currently staying at a non-Disney hotel (in Texas). Couldn’t get the conditioner pump to pump. Finally dawned on me that conditioner tends to be thick so I wasn’t surprised. As much as I hate to admit it, it is much more environmentally friendly.

I know they had them at POP when my family was there in November. Great for my wife who would use 3 or 4 of the mini bottles of conditioner in her hair everyday. I don't like the body wash that way, but I just used the bar of soap from the sink.

When we stayed at Pop Century about a year ago, housekeeping didn’t lock the dispenser. The bottles kept falling out and landing in the shower.

The only time I have taken stuff with me is when flying to Europe because I check bags there as it's longer trips - an no fee for checked bags internationally.

I refuse to pay for checked bags domestically unless there is absolutely no way to pack into a carry-on (and I'm a pro at packing in carry-on bags - I've packed for a 7-night running cruise in Alaska with 2 days on the front end and 1 day on the back end using only carry-ons). And the only thing worse than paying for checked bags for me is dealing with Southwest who consistently ends up choosing to do something elective (they admit it's elective and not necessary for operations) that delays me 5, 6, or more hours - never flying them again.
