We just bought DVC and haven't had a chance to stay yet. We've always stayed at the Poly. When we stay at a DVC resort will Disney still supply the toiletries (shampoo, lotion, soap) same as when we stayed as cash guests? TIA

They will be replaced every 4th day.

Sorry, lotion seems to have fallen off the map, we did get lotion a few years back but not lately!

Toilet paper you can request any time, but there should be enough in the room anyway.

Soap, shampoo and shower gel you get one each (for each bathroom I expect) and you have to manage to make them last until you get New ones on day 4.

Is it safe to assume they leave you a 4 day supply of soap, toilet paper, shampoo, etc? TIA

They leave you a "starter set" of one little bottle of shampoo, 1 bar of soap per sink and toilet paper. Depending on how much you use it may or may not be enough for 4 days.

OMG I guess I'll have to ration the shampoo and soap.
There's 5 of us, we bring our own toiletries, we use the hand soaps in the bathrooms. I usually give the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner to friends new to the resort as a souvenir! It's just like the coffee, the last 3 visits, we received one package of coffee. If you're a coffee drinker bring your own coffee and filters!

Thanks for the advice. Are the coffee pots standard size with standard filters, or the little 2-cup kind?

Standard size! I use a Keurig at home, so with one pack of filters for vacation I think I'll have enough to carry me through the end of my DVC contract, 2042!:rotfl:

I called vero beach, and they told be the Inn rooms have the little 4 cup coffee makers, so I planned accordingly. is this not true? I was told the same for the studios at bcv.

You also get shower gel and conditioner. The bar soap is 2 bars - one for tub and one for sink. We find that we have plenty with a family of 4 though I do sometimes bring shampoo and conditioner for me.

When OKW first opened, the studios had smaller coffee makers, they are the regular large size now. I think all the coffee makers, at all the resorts, are the 10 to 12 cup size now, though I've never specifically stayed in an inn room at VB.

I guess for VB inn room, I would plan on them having the small coffee makers, but pack enough coffee so you could also use the larger pots. It shouldn't take up too much room in packing for a little extra coffee and filters in ziplock bags.
