Toiletries and check-in question ... (POP)

We are staying at POP. Our flight gets in around 1:30, so I assume we will be at POP by about 3:00 or so ... will we be able to check in at that time? I saw that check in is at 4:00. If our room isn't ready, is there somewhere we can put our carry-on bags before heading out? If you use Magical Express, how long does it usually take before you see your luggage? If we have already left for the park, will they put them in our room or will we pick them up when we return that night?


Does the Mousekeeping at POP give toiletries daily? If so, what are they? I don't need to know what brand, just what they give.

I made up envelopes for tipping Mousekeeping. Where is the best place to leave it? On the bed, dresser, bathroom counter ??

We checked into Pop last Wednesday about 2 Pm and our room was ready.

They will hold your carry on's if your room isn't ready.

I have been to Pop 4 times. I arrived around 2:00 on 3 trips and around 6pm on the 4th trip. My room has always been ready.

On the trip that we arrive around 6 we dropped off our carryon in the room and then went to the food court to grab a bite to eat. I ran back to the room to get something before we headed out to the parks and they ME bags were already there. Every other trip they have "magically" appeared while we were at the parks.

I don't know about Pop because my room has always been ready but the one time I stayed at ASMo and we arrived early (around 10am) and left our carryon bags with luggage services they did deliver them to our room while we were at the parks.

They do leave toiletries daily. They leave a bar of soap at the tub and another on the sink and they have a combination shampoo/conditioner that they leave.


I always leave my housekeeping tip on a pillow.

I also have been to Pop four times and all but one were early arrivals. I was always able to get my room, but I do travel in the off season.

There is a room they will put your luggage in until your room is ready. Chances are, if you are taking Magical Express your luggage will arrive much later than you anyways.

Toiletries are supplied daily. Just the basics, soap and shampoo. It's now the H2O brand which is nice!

I always leave my tip in an envelope on the bed. They never miss it.

Nope they just put it in your room for you.

I am picky too, but no so much on vacation It was ok I just packed conditoner & my hair did fine.
