Toilet seats at VGC..

I find that in my travels arond the world, many places do not make the extra investment in the "User Interface" (toilet seat).

Be glad there was one.

I didn't notice anything..but you can hurt yourself on that flushing handle..it has some snap to it.

LOL! Do tell??? For those of us who want to know, in a pinch!

We have stayed there twice, and I have not noticed anything. Please elaborate (if you can) :)

We stayed there one night and nothing remarkable occurred. But hey, I'm not too picky---as long as it's not a porta potty I'm happy!

Oh my... I was afraid of this. I guess I AM the only one!!

I'm not sure if they are too small for the rim, or made from cheap plastic, or perhaps just loose.
The seem to flop from side to side a bit, and at times I get that cold, "porcelain" feeling.

It didn't happen to my wife either. Perhaps I need to work on my technique..

:rotfl2: OMG LMAO. Now I need to go get a rag to clean the sprayed coffee off the monitor:eek:

Ahem... Well...MG, perhaps you need a new technique or different personal plumbing.:rolleyes1

We guys just don't have as much experience at the "sitting" part of toilets. Maybe we should get some lessons from the women??

It's possible it was just a little loose... that makes ours at home wiggle back and forth. And nothing like a 3 yr old potty training to make it happen fast! Ours needs to be tightened every month or so. Granted, it could be a real issue, but its just something that happens unless they were tightly bolted and still happens over time and with use.

Perhaps you need to take a lesson from DH. He can't stand the HHI toilet paper (too scratchy, he says) so he brings his own. I can just see it now. "Umm, sir, what is that under your arm?" "Oh, I'm just bringing my own toilet seat with me on vacation."

Here's a guess- is the toilet seat issue because the seat isn't a complete circle and there is an opening in the front of the seat? Such openings have been known to pinch now and then.
