Just got back from the POFQ, and while I LOVED the hotel and had what I consider the perfect room, I learned that I definitely need to bring my own TP next time. Wow! Is this pretty standard with all the resorts?

Thanks!
Deb

I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel with good TP. And that's any hotel, not just Disney's.

Well, I've only stayed at Movies, CBR and Pop Century but based on those I bring my own TP.
Well, I stayed at the Yacht Club about 15 years ago but don't remember what the TP was like back then.

I remember last year going from Pop to Wilderness Lodge and noticing the better TP at WL.

Well we did a split last month at Pop/Kidani the toilet paper was definitely better at Kidani. But I guess since you are paying so much more for the room! It doesnt really bother me though.

Heh, my sister and I thought the toilet paper at POR was terrible, too! Didn't, uh, hold together very well :rolleyes1

We just did a split stay with BWI/CSR. The TP at BWI was Angel Soft and the TP at CSR was Reliable brand. There was a definite difference in the quality between the deluxe and the moderate.

The funny thing is I was going to post a thread about it but someone else beat me to it.

You only get the nice soft toilet paper at the deluxe resorts. That is one of the things I was looking forward to for my very first stay at a deluxe (Poly) back in August! The towels are thicker too. It was back to the cheap toilet paper for me last weekend while I was at CBR.

It is no different than the paper in the parks...I dont see what the big deal is

No big deal -- but that paper in the parks is bad too, but no worse than paper in any other public venue. That is why it is such a nice treat to use a restroom at one of the deluxe resorts. Makes you appreciate the small things in life like the nice toilet paper waiting for you at home!

I don't remember their TP being worse than any other public place, but one thing I did notice was how horrible their towels were. It was nice to go to the pool and get thicker/softer towels than you had in your own room.

On a similar note, I always bring my own tissues. The tissues in the room fall apart too easily when wet and aren't very soft. (I do use the toilet paper, however!)

lol, this is hilarious. My sister in law and mother in law were complaining about the TP at POFQ last month. So, when we had dinner at Cali Grill they took a roll out of the stall to bring back to thier room, (I guess it was much softer). Whats even more funny is that they never got to use is. They left it somewhere in the room, can't remember where... and mousekeeping took it! AHAHAHA. Maybe it happens more often than I would think... that the maids can spot TP that doesn't belong in the Mods. :rotfl:
