Hi!! Unfortunately we forgot to book an accessible room. My 92 year old grandmother will be with us , and needs grab bars for the toilet. I have a request into Disney on a wait list - but that’s taking a chance. At home we purchased removable grab bars as pictured. These go under the existing toilet seat bolts- so as long as you can remove the lid this should be able to go on - but I cannot remember what the top of the toilets at the beach club looks like. If anyone is staying at beach club villas could you post a picture of the top of the toilet seat? Or has anyone traveled with something similar ?

I know they make travel ones that are like backwards style walkers- but I am nervous about shipping direct to resort from Amazon- if anyone has done this can you include an example of how you addressed it?

Or better yet if anyone has traveled to wdw with someone similar to what I have posted can you confirm this will work?

We haven't used those, but we have had items shipped from Amazon to our resort. One was a new power cord for DH's computer-we got it, but we were charged $6 by the resort for their "handling" it, even though they didn't deliver it to our room or even call us-DH picked it up . Bell Services just accepted it, which I thought was their job. The second thing was a walker to Hilton Head's Disney Resort-it arrived before we got there (I'd fractured my pelvis a few days beforehand, so needed one when we got there). They put it in storage, and didn't charge us.

WDW has alot of 'stuff' . Once in room, call housekeeping to see if the item is at your resort or another resort.
As mentioned above, if able, Disney will purchase item for your use and then keep it for the next guest to use in their room.
