And from your opinion, where would you pick to watch them? My thought is mainstreet??

How many chances do you have to see the show? Only one? Then, yes, I would probably choose either the castle (if I really had the time to invest in holding a spot) or Main Street (requires much less time for a good spot and was very immersive). If you have more than one night to see fireworks, then choose one of the above spots and go for something different another night. We want to try IASW next time.

Main St! If you watch from IASW or RoA you will miss some really cool things that you can only see from Main St. I actually thought Main St was even better than being in front of the castle because there are extras on Main St you don’t get anywhere else. From IASW and RoA you won’t be able to see Buzz and the Up balloons fly either.
The focus on this show isn’t on the fireworks and they are minimal, it’s more the projections and other surprises!

Yes one time and don't really want to hold a spot for 2 hours! We are doing Disneyland in a day so trying to fit it all in:)

Thanks so much! This board has been so helpful and everyone has such great advice! Trying to get the most our of our day at Disneyland! Thanks!

Thanks for the input guys. I didn't want to watch the video and ruin it. I want to see it fresh for our visit. We only have 1 night to see it too.

We walked up to Main St 20 minutes prior and could have even done it at 10! No waiting for this crew.

They've posted a video from last night's live stream of the fireworks:
https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/b...r-from-disneyland-park-may-15-at-925-p-m-pst/

From what I could tell, they had a camera on Main Street, one in front of the castle, and one along the Rivers of America. It was kind of funny, but the way they presented it makes it clear that the fireworks themselves are secondary to the projections (lots of close ups of the castle, with only the bottom half of the fireworks showing). It gives the viewer a sense of the show, but the quick cuts and kind of odd camera choices at times, doesn't really do the show justice (there were times when I wondered whether the people producing the live stream had even seen the show beforehand). Oh well, it was still fun to see and it made me wish I was back in Disneyland!
