It looks like my 2 1/2 year old will be too short for nearly everything at DCA, including the Redwood Challenge Course, which I think she would really enjoy.

Can she still get in to see the Brother Bear show? She loves the Brother Bear movie.

Other than hanging out at Flik's Fun Fair all day, what can toddlers do at DCA? My other two kids are 10 and 6, and there are many attractions they want to see, so we will be spending a day there, at least.

Yeah, most of the rides in paradise pier have a height requirement. I have 2 girls (ages 4 & 2 1/2) and my 2 1/2 year old can't ride most of them. :(

Anyway, beside Bug's Land, there's the Sun Wheel, Playhouse Disney, the Aladdin Show, Golden Zephyr, It's Tough to be a Bug (my kids hated this btw, just depends on your child I think), Triton's Carousel and Monster's Inc.

She can go into the Brother Bear area and do the climbing and the slides, there are just certain things that heights are for like the rope swing! Everything else she will be fine to wander around and play, my 1.5 year old did all the time! Also the brother bear show is great and she will be able to see it! Have fun!

Like the PP said, there are also a few other rides for her, and if you go in the summer or when it's warm, my kids LOVE the puddle park and the water areas!

Personally.. I can only take Flicks fun fair for about an hour. After that we are tired of going in circles. My ds 4.5 was just all enough for the tuck-n-roll bumper cars.. We go at Christmas time so it is kinda cold for the puddle park. If we do go to DCA we only spend a few hours there. His favorite part is the Enginears Toy Store.. We then go back to Dl and ride almost all the rides there. His favorite is th Autopia and BTM

The carousel is cool. Aslo we go on the sun wheel in the non moving gondolas. As I am afraid my kids will not have a great experience on the moving ones. Also the lines are much shorter..

HTH..

There's also the Muppet Show attraction, and the talk with crush animation thingy :)

Yep. She can go to redwood, she just can't do the rope slide of the rock climb. I'm sure she'll never notice though. She can still do all the 'free play' type activities like slides and rope climbing, plus see the BB show. She can do Playhouse Disney, Animation Building, Muppets (though it's a 3D which I think are hit/miss with toddlers), Monsters Inc, Flicks Fun Fair and show. My girls LOVE the tortilla and bread tours, have since they were toddlers. Also the Ferris wheel (which I can't stand, but they love).

My 2 1/2 year old had a great time at DCA.
I wouldn't worry to much about what she can't do.
We did everything we were wanting to do and just did a parent swap if we needed to. The tours were fun for our little guy, as well as Flik's Fun Fair, the water fountian at the front of the park he still talks about. He had a great day, although I think the highlight was when we left the park and went into the GC and he rode the elevators. He just loves pushing those buttons. It makes it easier that admission was still free on that trip....otherwise we would have paid for his park ticket then had his favorite "ride" be the elevators at GC. ;) Kids sure are a kick sometimes.

Its funny, all the people who complain about the big hubcap fountain in front, my 3 & 2 year old chase the water from one end to the other all day. (Which gives mommy a much needed rest!!)

As you can tell from the pic below, we LOVE bugs land, we have to drag my 3 year old off of the fliers, and usually ride it a minimum of 3 times!!

I'll also agree with the above poster, the main reason I LOVE DCA with my tots is the lines. There is NOTHING worse than waiting for Dumbo! But we can get off the fliers and get right back on again.

Take your toddler into the Disney Animation building and turn her loose under a watchfull eye. Our toddler was so over stimulated by the overhead movie screens and music that she ran around in circles until she pooped out.
