We'll be at AoA for two nights, with one day at MK before our cruise this fall. My toddler is allergic to dairy, soy and eggs. I'm not really sure where to start with planning her food.

We'll probably eat at AoA food court for dinner the first night, pack our own breakfast in the morning, eat (hopefully) quick service somewhere in Fantasyland for lunch, then we were thinking maybe Columbia Harbour House at dinner (I've heard their allergy menu is good?), and Landscape of flavors for breakfast the next morning.

Will I be able to get quick service meals allergy-free without it taking all day? With such a short time there, I don't want to spend all of it eating (or waiting to eat!). How do I go about finding what these restaurants can offer us allergy-free?

We're flying in, so bringing her meals would be difficult. We'll definitely bring her snacks, though.

I feel like I've read somewhere about there being some allergy-friendly chicken tenders that are widely available, but I can no longer find that information. I've also read about being able to easily grab packaged goodies like Enjoy Life products, but I wouldn't know where to look for them.

I suppose one option would be to find something acceptable at AoA the first night, order extra and save it to take with us to MK for her lunch. We'll probably be less rushed at dinner.

Anyway... any tips would be appreciated!!!

Oh, and I see Be Our Guest frequently suggested, but there are no lunchtime reservations available that day-- will keep checking!

Email special diets for allergy listings of commonly available allergy friendly substitutions. You will have to cross reference between the 3 lists to see what will work. Allergy tenders are available at several locations on property- I would ask special diets for which specific place you could get them. You may just have to reference the lists they send.

I sent a box through Amazon prime pantry to the resort with special foods. We ate breakfast and most dinners in the room ( though we had a full kitchen). You can ask for a fridge for medical necessity as well for your safe milk and what not.

Thanks! I knew I needed to email special diets, I just wasn't sure what I needed to ask them! That helps!
I do plan on sending an Amazon Prime box with a lot of her snacks and boxes of rice milk. We'll have a fridge, but not a full kitchen. Also had thought of freezing a few small things and double-bagging in my suitcase, assuming they'd be thawed by arrival time and ready to put in the fridge. :) BUt, flying Spirit, we're not going to have a ton of space.

My kids don't eat out often so even the tenders were a big hit! They aren't cheap though. I think we got 4 orders with drinks and some EL cookies and it was about $60- but whatever, right? It's not ever going to be cheap at The World ;)

I will say the only place we had a minor issue was at BOG for lunch. DS got hives after lunch. Still not sure what happened- I hate mysteries like that. Our best meals were at the hotel. In fact we cancelled one dinner to go back to Captains Grill because it was DS's favorite. I figured we did all the princess stuff for DD so we would make it the best for DS who has the food issues!

We ordered almond milk from garden grocer. Got some regular lays as a treat since he can't have the fries this trip. We plan on ordering plain chicken or salmon for his dinners.

No need. Barring an emergency like the one that necessitated changing out all the refrigerators resort-wide a couple of years ago, every room comes with a refrigerator.

I ate a few meals at AoA on my last trip and they did a good job with allergies and were somewhat quick. The fastest thing they have that worked easily for my multiple allergies was the create your own pasta. They have a number of meat and veggies you can add plus sauce or they'll just warm it up in olive oil if she doesn't like sauce. That would be easy to save part of and reheat. I had no problem getting things like a burger and fries but with the soy allergy they have to make the fries separately because the chicken nuggets they fry with normally have soy. I'm a fan of the allergy safe chicken tenders BUT my kids hate them. They taste fairly strongly of black pepper which is what my kids noticed and dislike. At places like CHH when I order the special chicken tenders it's a good 20-30 min wait. The kiosk right outside sells baked potatoes which I will eat in a pinch if I don't feel like waiting in line and then the extra 20-30 mins. Cosmic Rays is a good allergy location in MK too with rotisserie chicken. But even if my meal doesn't need modifications it always takes extra time. Perhaps sending one person ahead to order would work well with a toddler? BOG is not the easiest with multiple allergies especially soy.
