Toddler Costumes from Disney Direct

Has anyone ever purchased a toddler costume from Disney Direct. My daughter wears a size 24 months (well, really that's running a bit big...but she'll be two next month). It looks like this falls into the XXS range. I want to buy her a costume for the Pirates and Princess party in Feb. There is a Jasmine one on sale...has anyone ever bought this? How small is the xxs?

That's probably about right. My DD is a 3T and I ordered her a Minnie dress in XS which is just a little big on her. I know last winter when she was in 24 month clothes, I ordered her an XXS sweatshirt. It was a little big on her then. She still wears it now, but it is getting a little small on her.

All of the costumes I ordered from them this year were EXTREMELY on the big side! The roo I got for DD, a 6-12 month, went in the closet for next year. It looks about 18-24 size from a normal store. DD4 got a JoJo costume, which was a little big, but that's OK, as it looked more baggy, so it was super cute. DS3's pirate costume was also on the big side, but not near as much as the babies. My DD 2.5 is really small she fits in 18-24. We ordered their xxs jojo costume and it was big but it fit her! Its hard to tell with disney!

I've always found their costumes to run on the big side. Will the costume look ok if it's a little big on your DD? If you think it will, then you should be fine. Plus, if she has some room in it, you could probably use it for Halloween as well.
