Well 16 days have passed and so we arrived back in Gatwick this morning after having a wonderful time
I'm going to do a trp report once I've got the

under control and feel less jet lagged, but here are a few of our highs and lows :-
Meteor meet and greet at Gatwick worked like clockwork...very much appreciated when we arrived back this morning cold and tired with lots of luggage...much easier than waiting for a bus back to our car and at a bargain price it was cheaper than a park and ride car park!
Dollar bargain car rental turned out pefectly too

We had hired a standard SUV but when we got to our car it was a 8 seater GMC Acadia. Now with just 2 adults and 2 children we didn't need 8 seat but DD (8) has had a thing about cars with "seats in the boot" for a while. Everywhere we go when she spots a car with "seats in the boot" she points it out and has been badgering us to buy one! She was estatic when she realised we had "seats in the boot" promply bagged one of the "seats in the boot" for herself.
Once we got to our hotel (AS Movies) we had another little suprise. We had not paid the extra for the prefered rooms in the prefered locations, but has been given a room in the prefered location Toy Story Block..Woody's block and had to walk through Andy's room to get back and fore to the main block and swimming pool. Both DD (8) and DS(7) were impressed with that bit of Disney Magic
The parks weren't excessively busy and we hardly queued at all by timing it right (doing the bigger rides either 1st thing in the morning or much later in the day) and using Fast Passes
DS(7) lost his fear of scary rides and loved all the "scary rides" that he ws able to do (both he and DD are under 48inches so there were a few of the bigger rides that they couldn't try

). His favourite ride turned out to be The Tower of Terrror...he and DP must have gone on it around 6 or 7 times during our trip!
DD and I finally got our wish to swim with Dolphins when we did Discovery Cove and that turned out to be DD's favourite part of the holiday.
I can't actually choose a favourite bit or ride...I loved almost everything, well everything except the scary rides (and I include Goofy's Barnstormer in that catagory!)

Maybe my favourite bit was when DP stated that we'd have to come back to Florida when the children are big enough for the bigger rides....it might be a few years yet, but that's got me planning already!
The weather was perfect most of the time...blue skies and temp around 28C in the day which DP (who doesn't do "hot") found ideal. We did have a few days when the temp went over 30C (mini heatwave apparently) which slowed us down for a couple of days, but it soon got back to a much nicer temperature. The only rain we saw was on Tuesday (our last full day) when we had set out to comando tour 3 parks to do our favourite rides one last time...we managed it despite a torrential downpour in the afternoon that nearly scuppered our plans, but we salvaged what we could and just had to forgo the Beauty and the Beast Show that DD and I had planned to watch while DS and DP did ToT a few more times!
We didn't really have any real lows to be honest. Dp was a little miffed that there wasn't a huge choice for vegetarians. Yes he could get a veggie burger from virtually anywhere (except McDonalds!) but who wants to live for 14 days on just veggie burgers

He did have nice veggie meals at Mama Melrose, O'hanas and Tusker House, although O'hana's would have ended up being one of our lows had the veggie option not been worth the wait!
LOL I'd better stop now otherwise this will turn into my full trip report! I'm off to catch up on the posts from the last couple of weeks
Luv Suzy
