We save all the omaha flyers from the Sunday papers for a couple months before Christmas, then choose the best one. Then I usually get a Omaha gift certificate from my Discover card rewards. I think you trade in $20.00 of rewards for a $30.00 certificate. You can only order by phone if you are using a rewards certificate.


We always seem to get a package with a cutting board and knife set. We sure don't need anymore knife sets!

Yes, We sometimes send them to family for Christmas. We are from the Omaha area, so it's our way of sending something from 'here'. I just bought 3 and paid $13 shipping for each. Still a very good price, I think, at $53. And they'll all be impressed.

Thank you so much for posting this information. Just ordered the steaks for my difficult-to-shop-for brother-in-law's family. Don't know if they will like them (had to stop worrying about THAT years ago), but at least I feel good about what we sent.

Thank you! Ordering the steaks right now for my FIL. He used to be the VP of a major grocery store chain, in charge of all the meat. Hope they are good! But at that price, can't go wrong. We've got Christmas and his birthday (Jan 1) back to back and the ILs have everything so this was a welcome suggestion!

I took the plunge and ordered the steak deal. I googled "omaha steaks free shipping" and clicked on a link that took me back to ohama steaks. The shipping amount was removed from my order; just paid the $4 for delivery on 12/22.
