Loved the show and the chat, but it brought up a question to me. The $150 experience was raved about, so what would you pay extra for these things? We all have paid extra for things like an upgraded resort or better view, so how much more would you pay for these things?

A nonstop flight directly to WDW

An unlimited fast pass

An unlimited fast pass for just one ride

An all you can eat icecream pass at MK

An all you can drink pass at Epcot

An all you care to enjoy snack plan at any one park

I can't say how MUCH more I'd pay, but from your list, the things I'd be willing to CONSIDER paying more for would be:

Non stop flight to MCO (My direct flight is 2 hours and change, so why would I torture myself, and make it longer willingly?)

All you can eat/drink/snack - Since I LOVE to eat and indulge (especially at WDW), this would DEF interest me, depending on prices, AND as long as "all you can drink" @ Epcot would be non-alcoholic, as I don't imbibe anymore.

Nonstop flight (North America): up to $200 extra each flight. I've had to run through enough airports to catch connections (late departures & bad weather not poor planning) to make this a worthwhile splurge

Unlimited FP: 0. I'm good with rope drop and the present FP+ system

Unlimited FP for 1 ride: (as above)

Unlimited ice cream: 0. I'm a salty girl not sweet. :-)

Unlimited booze @ Epcot: priceless

Unlimited snack plan: 0. I already eat like a little piggy at meals.

by "nonstop flight directly to WDW" - do you mean literally to the park or to MCO? If the later, maybe just because flights are so plentiful and relatively cheap from NY not that much

The unlimited drink pass to EPCOT would be cool just because I would get to try everything and pour out anything I didn't like. I'd probably pay $200 for that if it included all the different tequila's at the Ditch

Not sure about the others. I think if there was unlimited snacks at a park I might pay a bit for same reason as the unlimited drinks at EPCOT (though i don't think I would be willing to pay what they would have to charge)

One thing I would be willing to pay would be for unlimited food and drinks at the Food & Wine Festival booths - would be great to get to try everything ... especially if they had it so I could just walk up and grab things and not have to wait on line. I'd probably be willing to pay $200 for that as well

Well, considering I have to fly for about 21 hours plus a stopover in LAX to get to MCO, but our flights aren't really THAT much (Our flights for this trip were $1650 each and that includes:
MEL>EWR (via LAX with a 4.5 hour stop over)
EWR>MCO
MCO>MEL (via LAX with a 2 hour stopover)
So at the current exchange rate today of $0.7402, that ends up being USD$1,221 so not bad I guess?)
But a direct flight would probably be more like 16 hours I guess, and with flights today at $900 return to NYC (not sure where the stopover is), and I'd probably pay $1,000 for direct to MCO.
But that's the normal price return to LA for us.
None of that makes sense and I CBF changing it. Lol

An unlimited fast pass
I'd probably pay $150-$200 for length of stay for this.
I know it's not much, but it's not necessary, but for someone who comes once in a blue moon, I'd be happy to utilize my time better and just build that into the price.

An unlimited fast pass for just one ride
Nothing. Not interested in this at all.

An all you can eat icecream pass at MK
As above

An all you can drink pass at Epcot
For a day? $75-$90
Really, not many people are drinking more than 7-10 drinks, and most of them are <$10 so it doesn't really make it worthwhile unless you drink yourself completely stupid.

An all you care to enjoy snack plan at any one park
$30-$40
Again, snacks are what? $4-$7? Who is eating more than 10 snacks in a day?

I'm happy to spend money on things that I can see value in. So to be a value, they need to make sense financially.

I DEF like Max's idea about the unlimited F&W and "walk right up" - I would DEF consider paying extra for that! Now - as with all things - how much I'd consider PAYING, and what Disney would probably actually CHARGE would probably be LIGHTYEARS apart! :)

Addendum to my first post:

I did think it was cute when Oliver said it was a long way for him to get to Orlando from the UK: 9 hours.
Oh sweetie.... That's cute. ;)

But really, 9 hours isn't short, I'm sure there are a lot of international guests who would like a direct flight (if one doesn't already exist)

Flight: Nope. We drive to Disney. If we do fly, MCO is just fine and a non-stop flight already. I wouldn't pay extra to get right to property.
FP: This I would be interested in but I probably wouldn't be willing to pay what it would cost. Maybe $25/person/day.
FP for one ride: Not interested at all.
Ice cream: Nope. I usually get one Mickey ice cream sandwich during our stay. That's plenty.
Drink pass: Nope. I rarely drink because I'm driving. I've only had alcohol at Epcot once when we were staying at the Swan and that was only one drink.
Snack plan: Nope. I like my snacks but rarely get more than 2 in a day.

I am surprised as my wife and I can spend $200 at Epcot (in addition to park tickets) on drinks and snacks. In 10 hours at the world showcase we can drop just $100 in Mexico and $60 at the Rose and Crown, plus snacks in France and Norway.

The 3 of us average about $75/day total for all meals, snacks, and beverages for a day.

Stopped watching the show to comment here, because God forgive me for tooting my own horn, which I don't often do, but I have been saying this very thing about "arrogantly making money over care for guest experience" and "tipping points" fora LONG time.......AND while I've been "making money" as a stockholder. Just sayin' I've felt like a voice yelling into the wind in the wilderness for awhile.........

EDITED TO ADD:
I also have to comment that this is starting to feel to me like it did at the end of the "Eisner era" when I felt so passionate about what was going on in the company that I attended my first and only stockholder meeting to be able to vote him out. Was an incredible (and not often good) time. I still have my "Bring Back the Magic" button from the meeting held by Roy Disney down the street in Phlly, where I was totally shocked at being able to meet him, shake his hand, and discover what an awesomely nice man he was, and cried (I did, not him!) :) to hear how passionate he was at what was going on with Walt's legacy, and what the company had become. Was a huge press event, as well. I will forever remember it. But I also hope this is not where we're headed now.

By the way - feel better, Teresa! Looks like you and Jackie have that same nasty virus! :(

I agree. I am so glad what Pete said today as I thought it as well many months ago. Disney is going down a slippery slop and not caring about their brands. When I first started think this they were just sitting in their toboggan and getting ready to go. I was hoping it would not turn out this way.

Great Question!

I have only been to WDW once and to me... I would consider a Booze Pass+ however I don't want to be sloppy in front of my kids :)
