I need some help finding a number 5! The last two times we had pictures taken at our local discount store photo franchise, they were quite a disappointment. We get them done every year for birthdays and they have numbers, just over a foot tall, that the child holds so you can remember which birthday it was :rolleyes1
DD will turn five :bday: next trip and we are doing a photopass photoshoot, can anyone point me in the direction of a number five that we could bring and put in the picture?

Thanks

Go to a craft store (ie:michaels). They sell large letters and numbers made out of wood that you can paint or stain. Or you could get a large piece of styrofoam and cut one out.

I went to our local Michaels and they didn't have any :confused3
nor did AC Moore, they didn't even have balloons! I know Craft, not party store...

Here is a website that has multiple different sizes of numbers: https://www.aprprops.com/acatalog/Numbers.html

Thanks for the link.. but a LOT :scared1: more than I want to spend...

Triend to print out a big 5 for cutting out styrofoam, but am hoping to locate a number, cheap....

any more suggestions???

I was going to suggest a jersey with the number 5 on it, but then I read it was your DD. Not that girls can't wear jerseys, just probably not what you were thinking. How about making or designing some kind of crown with a number 5 attached? You could probably find a silver 5 like the type used for house numbers and attach it to a small silver crown. You can usually find them at WalMart in the girls wear section or in the malls (especially now with prom season) at places like Claires, Icing, etc;. Maybe the make your own ears in the MK at the hat shop have a number 5 that you can attach to them on the front. I think I like the crown idea better though. Hope this gives you some ideas!

Joann Fabric has large cardboard letter boxes, they may also have #'s.
If you don't want to use styrfoam try using a sheet of colored foam. It is not too thick and you can get it by the sheet in many colors at Michaels or Joann.

WOW! thanks so much!!! I love ALL the ideas! All seem doable and very unique! DD has a crown from being a flower girl already (from walmart) perfect for adding a five!

Thanks I will check there too!

I love having options!!

I love the crown idea!! I was thinking of a "5" balloon from a party store.
