Today's crowds.....

We went today from about 2-7pm. For some reason we stayed almost exclusively in frontier land, adventure land and New Orleans area. BTMRR wait was about 10-25 minutes. Indiana Jones was 40 minutes at one point but most of the time around 25minutes. Pirates was around 10-15 and haunted mansion, splash mountain and Winnie the Pooh were walk on.
So yes the crowds have been horrendous lately but today was wonderful. We grabbed a fastpass for thunder mountain, walked around Mark Twain, hit the treehouse, shopped, went on thunder grabbed a fastpass for IJ, shopped, hit IJ, and then went on Splash Mountain. That was a 2:30-4ish. Then grabbed dinner (Rancho del Z) with no wait, lots of empty seating. Wandered around a bit. Walkways were not super crowded at all! Hit thunder mountain again, then went on Matterhorn, which we walked on. We did five rides, lots of shopping, wandered around and had a long leisurely sit down dinner in less than 5 hours.
There is still hope folks....

You're making me jealous! I checked out the app earlier and saw 25 minute waits for Indy AND Toy Story! I'll be there in 2 weeks and 1 day to enjoy it myself!

Shhhh!
I'd like it to stay like this for my overnight trip next week. Tuesday and half of Wednesday with low lines would be nice.

Shhhh!

Nice to hear, we arrive tomorrow late afternoon and are hoping to get in a few rides before the park closes. Fingers Crossed!

This is nice to hear for a change. I honestly think Disneyland is like many other products though, people don't often write about it unless they have an issue - that is why product reviews are tainted in one direction because most of the people who buy something that works great do not bother to go on the internet and tell others, it is more likely someone who has a bad experience will complain about it. We hear more of the bad than the good and have to adjust how we read accordingly.

Did you notice how busy the parade route was when you left by any chance? Having trouble seeing what the time frame is on "slower" days but maybe that's because there haven't been any ;). I'm happy for you that you had lower crowds. Hoping it stays that way next week!

With yesterday being the first "AP Days" event at the Opera House starting at 5pm and the theme being Main St this week, I imagine many walked right out of the Opera House and found a spot for the parade.

We left right before the parade started and I saw a few spots left on the sidewalk on Main Street. Not enough for w whole family but I thought about squeezing in since it was just the two of us. Definitely tons of room if you were ok standing behind the front row. I did see people staking out spots around 5 but I think you could have gotten prime seating yesterday if you grabbed a spot about 30minutes before the parade started.

Ooooohh, we rode Toy Story 3x in a row in about 35 minutes Sunday night! It was fabulous! My husband still couldn't beat 200K though! (That's his goal, lol!)

We got a spot for the 10 pm parade across from IASW at a little bit less than an hour before and there was plenty of room there.

It was fine. Still under construction. The remodeled room was nice (especially compared to what we stayed in back in 2009). We had to get the fridge replaced after unplugging it our first night due to an incessant clicking noise. And we had issues with the hot water in the sink (no issues in the shower thankfully). As a Californian I didn't want to waste water, but I also didn't want to wash my face with ICE COLD water. We reported the problem our first morning, and while it was better the next 2 mornings, it still took 5+ minutes to get only luke warm water.

I'm sure the new tower will we great though. And they are supposed to introduce a new HOT complimentary breakfast for guests when that new tower opens, which HAS to be an improvement on their donuts and bagels, toast, cereal currently offered.

Thanks so much for the info. I got a great deal and it is just for 2 nights, was worried about the construction - saw the place all covered up this past Oct. - but we just need a clean place to crash after the parks. Thanks again!

Definitely was clean! And no construction noise bothered us, and we were at the end of the row of rooms RIGHT next to the new tower. Our room (102) was actually blocked by a dumpster which was awesome to block light AND noise to the room. Bonus! Unsightly, but it was just construction waste so it wasn't smelly.
