Today is the day...

The boss is referred to as The Beast by her peons. She said not to come back, leave immediately or she will call security. lol. I dont understand why she does this, people quit often and it ends up leaving us short staffed. She should really just accept the letter, and let herself have the 2 weeks to figure out how to patch the schedule. Instead staffing has to call & beg people to come in. SHe flys off the handle and then lets everyone else suffer for her poor judgement.

I am about 100% certain I wont be paid for the 2 weeks, but I am not going to pursue it. I will get my PTO that has accrued. Im just thrilled to be moving on. I will miss my coworkers, but not the job. And certainly not "The Beast"

It occured to me today that I never cleaned out my locker! EEK. Not much in there, just pens & markers etc. A clipboard. Nothing much. Now I have to decide if I want to pop in tonight (better while manager isnt there) but it will be awkward since they are short due to my quitting or if I should just call a coworker and give her the combo tell her to toss it all.

What would you do? Pop in or call a coworker?

I would call a co-worker. Especially after what the boss said - I would not risk going back.
