Today Is Such A Lousy Day Here Weatherwise...

It is raining...pouring actually like a monsoon. It is damp and cold and wet and I have things to do and I don't want to step out of the house!!!!! I have a soft cast on my foot and the only shoes that fit over it are my crocs clogs which are wonderful and comfortable but have holes along the bottom edge (on purpose) so the water comes in.

My DH's holiday party is tonight, and I can't wear nice shoes because of the stupid soft cast, so I am going to wear the rubber crocs. I'll wear black pants and some sort of sparkly top, so maybe no one will notice my shoes.

Whining over now!!!!!!!!!

This post reminded me of an old Mary Tyler Moore Show episode. Mary has to go to an award show/dinner and she has mishap after mishap all day long. The night of the award dinner it is pouring rain and she shows up with a fuzzy slipper on one foot because she sprained her foot earlier in the day. Her hair is a mess because her hair dryer broke and she wears a frumpy dress because the dry cleaners ruined her good dress. She also is suffering from a cold.

Hopefully, you will have a better day!! We just cancelled dinner plans at a restaurant tonight because of the snow we're getting. ARRRRRRRRRRGGGG!!

That really stinks. I had to wear a slipper for a foot problem one time, and went to Midnight Mass with it on.

We have snow and sleet, which is falling horizontally. What a nasty mess!

I'm sorry you are having a lousy weather day.

It is snowing so hard I can't see across the street. I just L-O-V-E the snow so I'm a happy person
