The service engine soon light came on in my car, took it to the mechanic and they tell me the code is an oxygen sensor, but he said he would erase it and if it comes on again we will replace it. The light goes out, I go to get the sensor from the autoparts guy, I'm going home and the battery light comes on, then the ABS light comes on, then the dash lights start going on and off , I thought it was a christmas tree. I get home , shut off the car and I try to start it again, it won't. I go to replace the battery with the spare one , when I opened the hood I can hear the old one hissing and some corrosion on top of it. I replaced it for the other one and haven't had a problem starting since.
We still have to replace the sensor , but man....did it all have to happen today all at once? I have never seen my car so lit up in my life!

Sorry you had trouble. Cars - can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.;)
