Today is National Sandwhich Day!

I'm a pretty big Sandwhich fan. I'll put just about anything between 2 pieces of bread. In honor of National Sandwhich Day, here is a picture of Earl of Sandwhich's (the best sandwhiches!) new holiday sandwhich.

The sandwich I was going to describe as my favorite looks like the Earl of Sandwich photo! We drive to Vermont for a once a year vacation and stop at a place in Hoosick Falls, NY, the Big Moose Deli & Country Store. I knew what I wanted before I left home, the turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce wrap - which pretty much looks like what the Earl of Sandwich sandwich is! If we have a chance to go there - that will be what I'm having!!!

Dang! I just had a salad for lunch. Well, there's always dinner.

I'm a big sandwich fan, too, though I've never eaten at The Earl ... yet. My favorite sandwich filler is chicken salad ... Not too much mayo, though. And tomatoes ... My sandwich always has to have tomatoes. No lettuce. I love salad, I love all kinds of lettuce ... Just not on sandwiches.

I'm partial to chicken in my sandwiches, though tuna salad is a close second (And the Columbia Harbor House in MK has the best tuna sandwiches IMO).

In the late 90s, there was an Au Bon Pain right around the corner from my office in Manhattan. Every Friday I would treat myself to their Chicken Caesar Salad wrap.

Yes, there is gravy on it, not too much though. I had it twice when we down there last year in the beginning of December. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Columbia Harbor House in MK has the best tuna sandwiches IMO

If you like the tuna sandwich at Columbia Harbor House, then you HAVE to try the Tuna Melt at Earl of Sandwich. I just have to have at least one a week!
