Today I bit back

I've been bitten with the add-on bug for quite awhile and today I decided to bite back and buy some more points. Woohoo!!! I added 50 points to my SSR contract for a total of 200. That's a much nicer number. I received the $10.00/point discount, no payments until June, (I'm financing. I know probably not the best way to do it but it works out better for me) and 2 one day/one park admission passes.

Hmmmmmmmm, now what am I going to do with those additional points?

What was the final cost for the 50 points? Did you have to give up your 2005 points?

I believe the final cost of the 50 points was 3775.00 plus the 450.00 downpayment. Disney kicked in 500.00 to match the downpayment which in essence is the 10.00/pt. discount.

We also get our points starting in May of 05 when phase 2 is open. When we got our docs in the mail/fed ex we looked at the ammount due and it was 974 or something to that effect but then realized that it didn't take into account the 10.00 per point Disney knocks off of it. We sent a 1000.00 dollars in to start so our monthly is only around 30 bucks or so if you do the minimum down it works out to be 51 a month I do believe.

Dukestreetking, my husband and I both were afflicted with "the bug" this past October. (130 points at SSR). No matter how hard you try to avoid "catching the bug" it never works! It is VERY hard to build up immunity to this "bug". People seem to get it over and over again. I'm sorry to tell you that once you've been bitten there is no cure!
