Leaving today for Disneyland. I’ve been to WDW over a dozen times but this will be my first time at DL.
I’m very excited but a little nervous too. It’s a solo trip and I’m going clear across the country..

By all means, feel free to keep an eye out for me and say hello. People from the board often do. As you may know, I spend a fair amount of time at/on Buzz Lightyear. I’ll be wearing a red Cubs cap.

Have a wonderful trip! Visiting the other park (we did the reverse since DLR is our home park) for the first time is a special and unforgettable experience! Enjoy every minute!

At Disneyland now..it’s awesome. I was almost in tears, I was so excited and happy. It’s very charming. Right now I’m in line for Mr Toads Wild Ride. Haven’t ridden this since I was 8 years old at WDW.

I did kind of forget how to use paper tickets to get a Fastpass though. Had to put it in a couple of times before it would read it. Ha!

Doing California Adventure today. I rode the Incredicoaster..I had to talk myself into it but it was fun. I have a FP for the Racers in Cars Land.

I would like to ride the rapids ride but am afraid I'll get soaked.

Racers were unbelievably fun..I like the Cars version much better than the Test Track Tron one..

I completely agree--Racers is an incredible ride. You don't go as fast as Test Track, but the bunny hills make up for that part. And the inside with all the characters is incredible! Glad you are having a great time!
