Toaster Ovens?

Can anyone recommend a good toaster oven that my kids could also safely use(with me around)? Does anyone have that Panasonic Flash Xpress? Not sure if I want that type or just the regular type.

I personally don't like toaster ovens but I thought I'd give this a bump for you

Since I'm from Canada and the one's in the States are different I can't recommend one specific type. I do however have one and love it. I am lost without it. I would like a bigger one though. My dm gave me this one for a Christmas present so I couldn't say anything. When we bought me dd's we made sure it was a bigger one. I use it all the time.

I bought a microwave that is also a convection oven and I love it.


But I had a toaster oven used it four times and cooked corn dogs about three weeks aga and the glass on the door just shattered. I will not buy another one.

My wedding I got it for a wedding present. That was 11 years ago in July.. it is a proctor silex the people got it at walmart. i make toast pizza toast pot pies, once I cooked a steak, grilled cheese.

I will never go back to a regular toaster

I'm using my second Black and Decker. The first one went to my store when DH moved in with his newer, identical one.

We've had this one for 9 years...and I had the other for about 5 before the store got it. Hey, have to go to the mall later, I should ask the guys in that store if they still have my toaster oven, LOL!

Thanks guys. I have never wanted one, but with a gas stove/oven, I am hesitant to let the kids "cook" things such as grilled cheese etc. I read(in Consumer Reports I think) to spend at least $50 or they are worthless. I have found 2 in the $80-$100 range.
